Afar Finance and Economic Development Bureau on behalf of Afar Disaster Prevention & Food Security Program Coordination Office, Afar Golina Woreda Finance & Economy Development Office & Afar Road Development & Transport Bureau has funds within the government budget to be used for the procurement of Water Tank Truck, Loader, Bull Dozer, Motor Grader, Hydraulic Excavator, Wheel Loader & Soil Compactor including all Necessary Accessories & Spare Parts.
1. The Afar National Regional State Finance and Economic Development Bureau invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply and delivery of:

2. Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Regional Government of Afar and are open to all eligible bidders from eligible countries.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address given below from 8:00am to 5:00pm from Monday to Friday during office hours.
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders from December 22, 2019G.C. on the submission of a written application to the address below & upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 250.00 (Two Hundred Fifty Birr). The method of payment will be in cash.
5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before January 21, 2020, G.C. at 4:00 am Local Time in the morning. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected.
6. Each Lot must be accompanied by a Bid Security an amount of Lot 1- ETB 30,000.00 (Birr Thirty Thousand) and Lot 2- ETB 200,000.00 (Birr Two Hundred Thousand) in Ethiopian birr or the equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be Cash Payment Order (CPO).
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder's representatives who choose to attend at the address below at January 21, 2020, G.C. at 4:30 am Local Time in the morning.
8. The purchaser reserves the right to cancel part or the whole of the bid.
9. The address referred to above, for further information and address of documents issued from, inspected and delivered at the following address.
