1. The Government of Ethiopia has received financing from the Agricultural Growth Program( AGP ) towards the cost of Raya Alamata and Raya Azebo pumped irrigation project and it tends to apply part of the fund to cover eligible payments under the contract NCB TIG/AGP/GD/01/2011 for the procurement of supply and installation of submersible pumps .

2. The Tigray Regional State of Water Resource Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders having vat certificate, vat declaration for the month of September 2018G.C, Tin Number, Renewed Business License, & supplies registration certificate Qualifications & Requirements included:, Technical, Financial, experience and other Legal Additional Requirements may provided in the bid documents and the procurement is not subject to margin of preference.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines:
Procurement of Goods, Works and NonConsulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers [Guidelines edition January 2011). (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Water Resource Bureau, procurement section and the bid documents can be purchased during office hours working days from 8:30AM to 5:30PM .from AGP Procurement Section office no.05 or from bureaus Procurement Section office no.107 starting from the news paper published date.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased directly from Tigray Regional State of Water resource Bureau, Procurement Section Ayder Kebele 03 by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 200.00(Two hundred birr). The method of payment will be in cash. The document will be sent or delivered by hard copy.
