Tigray region Bureau of Water and Energy invites interested and eligible bidders for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of three-phase electric motor-driven submersible pumps with all accessories installed in different woredas. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure as specified in the Guidelines for Procurement under The federal democratic Republic of Ethiopia

Qualification requirements include:

                                                                                                                                         

• ITB 3.2(a) The mandated public body for the registration of suppliers is: From PPA or the regional finance bureau.
•  ITB 3.2 (b) Renewed trading license For 2015EC, VAT declaration for the month of September 2016 EC. VAT registration, TIN number, and Supplier Registration Certificate.
•  ITB 18.1 A written confirmation of authorization to be signed on behalf of the Bidder shall consist of Fully Initial and sealed bid documents.                              

  Bidders should have to provide one "Original "Technical and Financial document in a separate envelope and one copy of "Technical" and two copies of "Financial" documents also should have to be provided in separate envelopes, to each lot.                                                                                                     

  1 A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500. The method of payment will be in cash from Monday-Friday on working hours.

  2 Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 25/6/2016 EC 3:00 local time Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected and Bids will be opened physically on the same date at 3:30 local time in the presence of the bidder's representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security (CPO) or unconditional bank guarantee As per the amount specified in the table above in Ethiopian Birr.

  3 The bid security shall be valid for a period of 90 days (ninety days) after the bid opening.

  ITB 31 the bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
