• For Grade 8 and Above ContractorsÂ

1 Contractors (bidders) must provide VAT certificate, VAT declaration for the month of October  2017 EC . TIN Number , renewed business license valid for 2017 and valid and renewed appropriate water works registration Certificate from Ministry of water , Irrigation and Electricity or Regional Water Resource Bureau .

2 Qualification and Evaluation requirement will be only financial and legal requirement. Least bidders selection method

3 Bidding will be conducted in accordance with open national tendering procedure contained in the 2006Â public procurement proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and Regional procurement proclamation and directive for the construction and it is open to all eligible bidders as mentioned above

4 Bids shall be valid for a period of 60 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr ETB 25,000.00 in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee , or CPO and they shall be delivered to the office below on or before bid closing date at/before 9:00 AM November 29, 2017

5 Bids shall be opened at 9:10 AM on November 29, 2017 in the presence of the bidders or their representative who wish to attend . Electronic bidding will not be permitted .Late bids will be rejected

6 Interested bidders will be requested to offer one original and two copies of their financial proposal as specified in the bidding document to be provided

7 A complete set of bidding document in English could be purchased directly from Tigray National Regional State Water Resource Bureau procurement section , Mekelle up up on payment of non refundable fee birr up to November 29, 2017 at office hours

8 The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid
