1 The federal Government of Ethiopia has received financing from development partners such as IDA, AFDB ,DFID and UNICEF in the form of a “ credit “ and /or grant toward the cost of the water supply Sanitation and hygiene project (One Wash National program) and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payment under the contract for procurement of Construction off 2 (two) RPS in 2 lots
- Lot 1 Haflaf   RPS and  Lot 2 Adu RPS
Haflaf and Adu Rural Water Supply System in Megalle Woreda , Afar NRS.
2 Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding(NCB), a procedures specified in IDA Guidelines: procurement under IDA Credit and Grants and is open to all bidders from eligible sources /Countries as defined in the Guideline
3 Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 (One hundred twenty) days after bid opening . Bids must be accompanied by bid security amount Birr 51, 000.00 for Lot 1 and Birr 53,000.00 for Lot 2 in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO . Bids shall be delivered on or before May 22, 2017 9:30 AM , using the address indicated below. Bid shall be opened, May 22, 2017, at 10:00 AM in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend . Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.Â
4 For those interested , bidders to participate in the both lots should present independently qualification documentation for each lot
5 complete set of bidding document in English can be purchased directly from the Afar Regional state water Resource Bureau ,procurement , finance and property Admiration Support process , Afar , Samara up on payment of a non-refundable fee Birr 300
6 Bidders should present renewed Water works Registration and Trade License for the year 2009 E.C , VAT , TIN and Tax Clearance Certificate or equivalent documentation requirement from appropriate body for foreign bidders
7 The Bureau reserve the right to accept or redirect all or parts of bids
