Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding (ICB) procedure as specified in the guidelines for procurement under the government of federal democratic of Ethiopia. The Federal Democratic of Ethiopia is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the bidding documents

In the case of Ethiopian bidders only ITB 4.7 Renewed and /or valid trading license for the fiscal year 2008/9 E.C import export license on machinery pumps generators and/or other closely related import export license its tax clearance certificate and VAT registration ,declaration for the month of October 2009 E.C Tin number suppliers registration certificate . any relevant professional practice certificates.

ITB 4.7(a) the mandated public body for the registration of suppliers is :Bureau of Finance and economic development

ITB 5.5 the bidder should be required to include with its bid,documentation from the manufacturers of the Goods, that it has been duly authorized to supply, in Ethiopia,the Goods indicated in its bids

1. Manufacturer Authorization Directly Addressed to the procuring entity with procurement reference number
2. Certificate of origin ISO 90001 certificate, proof of those goods operationally tested and bidders should have the experience of supply of the same or relevant goods

ITB22.2 The Written confirmation of authorization to sign on behalf of the bidder shall consist of : Fully initial and sealed financial technical proposals

Bidders should have to be provide one “original” Technical and Financial proposal in a separate envelopes and each 2(two) copies of “Technical” and “Financial” documents also should have to be provided in separate envelopes and duly marked as original and copy in the outer envelope, and the lot number also marked in outer envelope of both proposals too.

1. A complete set A complete set of bidding documents in English may  be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and payment of a non refundable fee birr 250 on working days (Monday-Friday) . Method of payment will be in cash or check against receipt.
2. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before Feb 8/2017 at 3:00 PM Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
3. And bids will be opened physically the same date at 3:30 PM in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below .All bids shall be accompanied by a bid of security (CPO) and the amount will be as state in the above table and bidder’s expecting to furnish in Ethiopian Birr or an equivalent amount in a feely convertible currency.
4. The Bid price shall be valid for a period of 90(ninety days) days after bid opening
5. The bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid
