1 The Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the One wash National program  toward the cost of the water supply and sanitation project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract NCB/TIG/OWNP/RPS/09/2015 for the procurement of Civil work construction , supply and installation of pipes and fittings and electrometrical equipment for Tsegede woreda site Hillab water supply
2 The Tigray Bureau of Water Resource now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders having Vat Certificate ,Vat declaration for the month of June 2016 , TIN Number, renewed business license and renewed water works  Registration certificate from Ministry of Water Resource Valid for 2016( 2008 E.C ) Qualification and requirement including machinery , personnel , technical , financial legal and other additional requirement may be provided in the bid document . This procurement is not subjected to marginal preference
3 Bidding will be conducted through the National Completive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s( Guidelines edition January 2011) and open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement Guidelines. Â In addition , Please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the world Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
4  Interested  eligible bidders may obtain further information from One Wash National programme procurement section Room number 104 old Building and inspect the bidding document during office hours 2:00 – 6:30 and 8:00 – 11:30 local time starting from the news paper published data at the address given below
5 A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 150 Ethiopian Birr , The method of payment will be on Cashier’s check .The document will be collected from bureau
6 Bids must be delivered to the address below Tigray Region Water Resource Bureau procurement section, office number 102 old building on or before 21 September, 2016 up to 9:00 AM . Electronic bidding will not be permitted .Late bids will be rejected . Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representative and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 21 September, 2016 @9:10 AM. 7 All bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 35,000.00 Ethiopian birr in the form of CPO or “unconditional Bank guarantee” and bid shall be valid for 60 days after bid opening and must be combined by valid security in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee by adding 28 days beyond the valid (88 days)
