The prior conclusion of a financing agreement , which does not modify the elements of the procurements procedure (this is the case , for instance , if the budget foreseen is different or if the time frame , the nature or the condition of the implementation altered ). If the precedent condition is not met the contracting authority will either abandon the procurement of cancel the award procedure without the candidates or renders being entitled to claim any compensation.

6 Description of the contract

   Tigrai Culture and Tourism Bureau is working to improve the economic competiveness of cultural handicrafts of Tigrai with the help the European Development fund financed project PROHEDEV- TIGRAI GRANT.

This Contract is about the procurement of wooden Shelves(20) , small wooden Chairs (30), small wooden Tables (20) Large wooden Tables(3), White Boards (5) Â

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

9. Participation

  Tendering is open to all legal or natural person invited to participating either individually or in a grouping .suppliers must present renewed trade license , VAT registration and suppliers registration certficate Â

10Â Grounds for exclusion

  Tenderers must submit a signed declaration , include in the Tender Form for the supply contract to the effect that they are not in any of the situation listed in point 2.3.3 of the practical Guide .

11Â Number of tenders

 Tenders for parts of a lot will not be considered .Tenderers may not submit a tender for a variant solution in addition to their tender for the supplies required in the tender dossier.

12 Tender guarantee

Tender must provide a tender guarantee of 2% of the value of contract . This guarantee will be released to unsuccessful tenderers once tender procedure has been completed and to the successful tenderer(s) upon signature of the contract by all parties. This guarantee will be called upon if the tenderer does not fulfill all obligation stated in its tender.

13 Performance  guarantee

The successful will be asked to provide a performance guarantee of 10 % of the amount of the contract .This guarantee must be provided together with the together with the return of the countersigned contract no later than 3 days after tender receives the contact  signed by the Contracting  Authority If the selected fenders fails to provide such a guarantee within this period the contract will be void and new contract may be drawn up and sent to the tenderer which has summited the next cheapest complaint tender

     Tenders must remain valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline for submission of tenders .
