1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and open to all bidders from eligible suppliers. Local manufactures should have a vender Assessment report by Ethiopia Electric Utility (EEU) to manufacture the goods.
2. Eligible bidders should have valid & renewed trade license & VAT certificate.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and clarification from Tigray Region Electric Utility (TREU) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below.

4. A complete set of bidding Documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidders at the address above and upon payment of non-refundable fee of against payment receipt of Birr 2,000.00 (Two thousand ETB) for Lot 1& Birr 4,000.00 (Four thousand ETB) for Lot 2.
5.Bids must be delivered to the above mentioned address and before closing date and time.
6. Bidders must be accompanied by a bid security in amount of equal to ETB 18,340.20 (Eighteen Thousand three hundred forty ETB & twenty cents) for Lot 1 & Birr 25,021.02 (twenty five Thousand twenty one ETB & two cents) for Lot 2 in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee by the name of Tigray Region Electric Utility (TREU). Late bids shall be rejected.
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or bidders representatives who choose to attend at the above mentioned address date and time.
8. Financial Bid document are opened after examining the bid document carefully.
9. Payment to suppliers in Ethiopian currency birr.
10. Tirgay Region Electric Utility (TREU) reserves the right to reject all or partial bid without assigning any reason thereof.
