Bid Opening Date : 35 th day to be counted from the date of announcement at 10:00 AM . if the 35 th days is not working day, the bid will be closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next working day
1) Invites eligible bidders who have renewed Relevant Trade License for the fiscal year (2012 E.C.), VAT Registration, Tax Clearance, Tax Payer Identification (TIN), Supplier Registration Certificate, and other supportive documents.
2) Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from eligible countries.
3) Eligible bidders can obtain the procurement documents from Mekelle University College of Veterinary Sciences Finance, Procurement and Property Administration Office No. 17 (Tel. +251343990238 located in Kallamino Campus during office hours (Monday to Friday) up on payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (one hundred Birr) or equivalent amount in USD.
4) Bids shall be valid for a period of 180 days and must be accompanied by bid security as specified for each lot in Birr or equivalent amount in USD CPO or Bank guarantee shall be delivered to the address

5) Closing time for submission of bid will be at the end of 10:00 AM of the 35th day to be counted from the date of announcement of the tender and its opening time will be on the same day, at 10:30 AM. If the 35th day is not working day, the bid will be closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next working day.
6) Technical original, technical copy, financial original & financial copy documents for the bid should be sealed and submitted separately, applicable for both lots.
7) Mekelle University College of Veterinary Sciences has the right to cancel the bid totally or partially if it gets a better way of obtaining the required items.
