Tigray Water and Energy Bureau through government of Ethiopia has received (a Grant) from African Development Fund (ADF) herein after called the Bank toward the cost of Multi-Sectorial Approach for Stunting Reduction Project (MASREP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract Number ET-Tigray- BoW&E/NCB/TIG/AFDB/W-3/2023 for procurement of Civil Works Construction, Supply and installation of Pipes & fittings and Electro-Mechanical works for Mymuk River pump irrigation project.
The bureau now invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified bidders (contractors) Having VAT certificate, VAT declaration for the month of May 2024, TIN No, renewed business license valid for 2024, and renewed appropriate water works registration certificate for 2024 from the Ministry of Water and Energy or Regional Water & Energy Bureau.

- Bidding will be conducted through Open Competitive Bidding National procedures as specified in the Bank's Procurement Framework for Bank Funded Operations dated October 2015 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Water & Energy Bureau Tell 09-52-27-00-27 and inspect the bidding document during office hours [8:00 AM to 5:00 PM] at the address given below.
- The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of birr 600.00. The method of payment will be in cash.
- All Bids must be valid for a period of Ninety (91) days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of birr ETB 500,000 in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee, or CPO and they shall be delivered to the above office on or before bid closing date at (9:00 A.M.) August 26/2024
- Bids must be delivered to the address below; bidders should offer one original and ONE Copy of technical and Financial proposals sealed in separate envelop as specified in the bidding documents to be provided.
- Bids shall be opened at 9:00 A.M. August 26/2024 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.
- Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected
- The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
