Tigray Water and Energy Bureau through the government of Ethiopia has received (a Grant) from African Development Fund (ADF) hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of Multi-Sectorial Approach for Stunting Reduction Project (MASREP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Small Scale Irrigation Diversion Maintenance of Head works and infrastructure for Lot-1 Mktal Aboyzemo Neder and Lot-2 Adreb Adyet

The bureau now invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified bidders (contractors) Having VAT certificate, VAT declaration for the month of January 2024, TIN No, renewed business license valid for 2024 and valid and renewed appropriate water works registration certificate from the Ministry of Water, and Electricity or Regional Water & Energy Bureau.

1. Bidding will be conducted through Open Competitive Bidding National procedures as specified in the Ethiopian Federal Democratic Republic procurement directive issued on 8 June 2010 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Bidding Document.
2.  Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Water & Energy Bureau, Bruk, e-mail Bruke29@uahoo.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours [8:00 AM to 5:00 PM] at the address given below.
3. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of birr 500.00. The method of payment will be in cash.
4. All Bids must be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security of birr ETB 50,000 in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee, or CPO and they shall be delivered with its bid on or before bid closing date at (9:00 A.m. April 3/2024).
5. The bid document must be delivered to the address below; bidders should offer one original and One Copy of technical and financial proposals sealed in one envelope as specified in the bidding documents to be provided.
6. Bids shall be opened at (9:00 a.m. April 3/2024).in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.
7. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected
8. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
