  1. The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project (DRDIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Small Scale Irrigation Project works (Asaqita woreda Galifage kebele & Kondomta Kebele, and Berehale woreda Leleala kebele).
  2. The Livestock, Agricultural and Natural Resource Development (BOLANRD)- now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for having WWC/GC Category 3 and above Trade License for the Construction of Small scale irrigation. Bids shall be valid for a period of One Hundred Twenty (120) days after Bid opening. Bidders has the option to bid for one or more of the following lots.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the national Competitive Bidding /NCB/ procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement Under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits ("current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 7:30 A:M to 6:00 P.M. local time of official working days.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 200.00.

6. Bids must be delivered to Afar National Regional State Bureau of Livestock, Agricultural and Natural Resource Development (BOLANRD) on or before 11/05/2020 at 09:30 A.M (03:30A.M local time) Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened or before -.../05/2020 at 10:00 AM (04:00A.M Local time).

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as specified above
