Edaga Hamus office of water supply & sewerage service invites qualified eligible bidders from grade 7 and above who they fulfill the under-listed requirements for the construction of Civil Work Construction, supply & installation of electromechanical equipment, pipes and fittings for EdagaHamus Town Water Supply Project located in Eastern zone of Tigray Edaga Hamus Town through the budget allocated by Government. Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding (NCB)

Requirements include.
- The mandated public body for the registration of bidders is: Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Electricity or from the Regional Water resource bureau.
- Renewed or valid trade license for waterworks and registration certificate from Ministry of Irrigation and Energy or Regional Water resource bureau for the fiscal year 2011/2012 tax clearance certificate, VAT declaration for the month of Meskerem 2012 E.C VAT registration certificate, Tin Certificate and any relevant professional practice certificate and should be provide in the technical documents envelopes.
- The written confirmation of authorization to sign on behalf of the Bidders shall consist of: Fully initial and sealed bid documents in general Bidders should have to provide one "Original Financial and Technical documents in a separate envelopes, 2(two) copies of “Financial” documents should have to be provided in separate envelopes and 2(two) copies of "Technical” documents also should have to be provided in separate envelopes, too.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 150.00 method of payment will be in cash against receipt from Monday - Friday on working office hours staring from the newspaper published date.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below before or up to 16/4/ 2012 E.C 3:00 morning (local time) Electronic bidding shall not be permitted.Late bids will be rejected. And Bids will be opened physically on the same date at 3:30 morning (local time) in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below all bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security (CPO) or unconditional bank guarantee of 120,000.00 Ethiopian Birr (One Hundred Twenty thousand birr only ).in separate Envelope or deliver in side in the original technical document.
- The bid validity is 60 (sixty days) from the bid opening date.
- The bid security shall be valid 28 days beyond the bid validity period.
- The Office reserves the right to reject all or part of the Bid
