1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of the Regional Pastoral Livelihoods Resilience Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of Supply Sollar Systems and Installation
2. The Regional Pastoral Livelihoods Resilience Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of Solar Systems and installation.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants January 2010 revised July 2014, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 settings for the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Pastoral Community Development Project Federal Project Coordination Unit procurement section and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday to Friday during office hours: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 100 (One hundred birr only). The method of payment will be Cash, CPO, or Certified Cheque.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 12/2019 at 9:30 AM (3:30 local Time) Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on or before October 12/2019 at 10:00 AM (4:00 local Time)
7. All bids must be accompanied by a "Bid Security" of ETB 50,000.00 for the lot or equivalent in any easily convertible currency in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee.
