Plan International's programs in Ethiopia focuses on Child Protection, Education, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Food and Economic Security, Humanitarian Response and Resilience Building that we implement in Tigray, Amhara, Oromia, Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples' (SNNP), Gambella, Afar and Benishangul-Gumuz Regional States and Addis Ababa City Administration. Common to these, issues of gender and disability are also integrated and mainstreamed in all programs.

Plan International Ethiopia-Tigray Program Area is seeking for competent and reliable Suppliers for the supply/provision of WASH-NFIS/None Food Items/ through voucher system/method to the program participants selected by our organization.

The selected suppliers will provide the WASH items in two rounds to the same program participants. There will be a two to three-month period between the first and second round distributions at the distribution points to be held in six woredas of two zones (Northwestern & Central zones) as stated in our tender documents categorized in two LOTS (North Westem Zone /LOT-1 includes Tahtay Adiyabo woreda at Ziban Gedena: Asgede woreda at Adimehameday and Adi Daero woreda at Adi Daero as well as Central Zone /Lot-2 includes Chila woreda at Chila, Axum woreda at Axum and Adwa woreda at Adwa.

Mandatory Requirement

1. Copy of Renewed & Relevant business license of 2015 EC or the latest

2. Evidence of settlement of Current Tax, Copy of TIN & VAT Certificate

3. Technical Proposal - Original and Copy Financial Proposal -Original and copy in a separate envelope CPO /Bid guarantee in a separate envelope clearly marking its Bid guarantee

4. Bid Security CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee 2% of the total cost before VAT

  • Tenders submitted after the deadline will be automatically rejected.
  • Plan International Ethiopia reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids.
  • Bidders who did not obtain the Bidding Document directly from Plan International Ethiopia (PIE) will be rejected during evaluation
  • Bid instruction documents and detail of the WASH-NFIS can be obtained from Plan International Ethiopia, Tigray Program Area Mekelle-Office and Shire Office in hardcopy form according to the details provided below:
