• Action Against Hunger is the independent, non-political and non-profit” Humanitarian Organization that has been implementing relief, rehabilitation and developmental programs in different parts of Ethiopia since 1985 GC. It has re-registered legally at the federal democratic republic of Ethiopia as charities and societies agency/CSA Under registration number 0032.
• Currently, we are implementing a USAID(DART/B2I) Funded project entitled as ‘Integrated Humanitarian Response to Tigray and surrounding areas affected by the conflict in Tigray Ethiopia in central zones of Tigray Region in Kola-Tembien,Keyih-Tekli, Maikenetal and Endaba- Tsahema/Edaga-Arbi Woredas'.

Therefore, Action Against Hunger requested interested contractors to submit their company profile that contain at least the below listed mandatory documents:

1. Administrative documents (Copy)

a) Valid Trade renewed Registration Licence b) Valid Business Licence c)

 Tax Identification number (TIN) Certificate d)

Value Added Tax Certificate e) Valid GC/WWC Contractor License Grade WWGC-5 and above

2. Technical documents (Copy)

 a) Similar construction work experience in the past five years from different organizations and certificate of successful completion at least three similar works in the past five years.(20%)

b) Proposed key personnel, meets WWGC-5 requirements and above (30%)

c) Proposed machinery & equipment, meets at least WWGC-5 requirements and above (30%)

d) Cumulative volume of work for the past five years and the total minimum threshold conduct amount should be minimum of ETB 4,000,000.00 (20%)

e) filling with unreasonable high or low unit rate on a specific work items will lead to bid dismissal/rejection

f) Contractors who score technically 60% and above will proceed to the next level. However the organization have the right to scale up/down the technical cutting percentage.

 g) Working experience with Action against Hunger will be considered as advantageous

3. Instructions

The contractors can compute for more than one lot but the offer can be provided for one won lot only.
