INVITATION TO BID (2nd Time)

Ethiopian Catholic Church-Social and Development Commission Office Adigrat Branch /ECC - SDCOAB/ for CRS - BHA Project invites sealed bids from interested eligible Suppliers for Supply and Delivery of Blankets and Bed Mats to Adigrat project area & Shire sub branch project areas. Any interested eligible supplier fulfilling the following minimum criteria should get bid documents from ECC-SDCOAdB /Adigrat main office.

a) The interested suppliers shall present relevant business license (Textile Business) renewed for 2016 E.C, registered and certified for provision of Textile supplies, registration certificates issued from relevant government office, VAT registration certificate and Tax Identification Number (TIN).

b) Interested eligible bidders can purchase bid document from December 26, 2023, 2023 to January 02, 2024, from Adigrat main office /ECC-SDCOAdB/ Procurement section by showing business license and up on payment of non refundable Birr 100.00 during working hours of the Office.

c) The bidders should secure a bid bond only through CPO 2% of the bid offer including VAT. Pledging cash or other assets as a bid bond is not allowed.

d) All prices shall be quoted according to the given specifications only without any alterations to the specification, and no substitute materials shall be accepted.

e) Transportation and other costs incidental if any, for the supplies delivery to their final destination (Adigrat project area & Shire sub branch project areas) has been covered by the bidder.

f) The prices to be filled in Ethiopian Birr including Transportation cost, VAT 15% or TOT 2%, if the supplier is VAT or TOT registered; and if not remark is made, ECC-SDCOAdB will assume the price is including VAT 15% or TOT 2%.

g) Bids must be submitted on January 02, 2024, between 9:30 Am - 10:00 Am (morning 3:30-4:00 local time) only to the prepared bid box in ECC-SDCOAdB main office in Adigrat. Late bids after the deadline shall not be accepted.-

h) The Bid will be officially closed at 10:01Pm (L.T 4:01) on January 02, 2024 in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives and ECC-SDCOAdB concerned committee.

i) Bids will be opened at the head office in Adigrat on January 02, 2024,, at 10:10 Am (4:10 morning local time) in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives and ECC- SDCOAd concerned committee.

j) ECC SDCOAdB shall notify the winner supplier in writing purchase order with in 5 (five) calendar days after the bid opening date.

k) In the event the winner bidder to whom an award is made fails or refuses to deliver materials with in 7 (seven) calendar days from the notification date of purchase order, ECC SDCOAdB may deposit the bid bond of the refusal bidder without any warning/ precondition and will take other bid facilitating actions.

1) The office reserves the right to reject partially and/or whole bids at any level of processing if any other preferable alternatives are there.
