1. The government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the CWA-II and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of office equipments for PMU, Coordination office, Woredas and Small Towns.
2. The Tigray Water and Energy Bureau now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for
- 62 Desktop Computers,
- 30 Laptop Computers,
- 29 printers,
- 1 Color Printer,
- 2 Multipurpose Photocopy Machine,
- 2 Smart Scanner,
- 1 Camera,
- 1 Smart TV and
- 1 Laminating Machine.
3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" "World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers", dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018. ("Procurement Regulations"), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Water Resource Bureau, PMU Coordinator Mr. Dagnew Hagos, dagnew.hagos@gmail.com, 09 42 01 68 20 and Room No111 New Building, Att.Mr. Samson Berhane, sbgirmity@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours 2:00_6:30 and 8:00-11:30 Local Time.
5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee 500.00 ETB (Five Hundred Ethiopian Birr). The method of payment will be in Cash. The document will be collected in person. Bid Document will start to sell from 19 December 2023 (OWNP Procurement Section)
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 17 January 2024 at 3:00 Local Time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 17 January 2024 at 3:15 Local Time
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 120,000.00 ETB (One Hundred Twenty Thousand Ethiopian Birr)
