SAVE THE CHILDERN hereby invites competent contractors to submit a sealed tender for the following construction works of Class Rooms, in Tigray Regional States.
1 LOT-VIII: Construction of Dry latrine block in Melfa Primary School , Melfa Kebele in D/Tembein Woreda in South Eastern Tigray Regional.
2 Lot IX : Construction of ECCD Block (HCB) in Kalina Beru Kebele , Karina Primary School of Raya Azebo Woreda of Southern Tigray region.
Bidders with BC/GC Grade 7 and above may obtain the Tender Documents, including the , General Conditions, Contract Template, Specification and Bill of quantities for each of the aforementioned activities against payment of a non-refundable Birr 100.00(One hundred Birr only) for each from either save the children Addis Ababa countery office or save the children Tigray Field Office from September 25th up to October 15th , 2014 between 8:30- 11:40 A.M and 1:00 – 4:00 P.M hours from the following address:

Tenders duly filled must be accompanied by:

Renewed business license for the year 2006 E.C

VAT register certificate

Company profile showing past performance record on similar works and other relevant credentials.

Bid Security in the name of “ Save the Children International ” for 2 % of bid amount in the form of CPO or bank guarantee valied at least for two month from the date of bid opening (Cash and Insurance bond are not accepted).
Bid must be put in wax-sealed envelop, clearly marked by “bidders name , address , legal Stamp and name of the particular site and Lot Number ” and submit their technical and financial document in one (1) original and One (1) copy for both , (different four envelop) for each lots all separately wax-sealed to save the Children to the address sated above at Addis Ababa Country office or in Tigray field office Mekelle before , October 16th , 2014 before 12:00 A.M
Bids will be opened o, October 21th at Save the children Mekelle Tigray Country office at 09:00 A.M in the presence of bidders or bidder’s representative who wish to attend.
Save the Children reserves the right to accept or reject the entire or partial part of the bids
