BID INVITATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CIVIL WORKS

FOR WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM

1 MOHA Soft Drinks Industry S.C has allocated budget towards the cost of the water supply to cover eligible payment under the contract for construction of Civil Works for water supply system.

2 MOHA Soft Drinks Industry S.C now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following project.

3 Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding ( NCB) a procedure specification in the MOHA Soft Drinks Industry S.C , and is open to all eligible bidders .

4 Bids shall be valid for a period, specified in the bid document. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of Insurance or CPO of 50,000.00 (Fifty Thousands) Birr.

5 Bids shall be delivered to the MOHA Soft Drinks Industry S.C , Mekelle Branch Office on before 9:30 PM, September 22,2014 . Bids shall be opened at 10:00 PM September 22,2014 in presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bidder will be rejected.

6 Qualification requirements include.

1. The Essential Machineries, Tools, Equipment and experienced manpower

2. Completion of at least two similar contract in each of the last three years,

3. Annual turnover equal to the bid value

4. Liquid assets of at least 1/3 the contract value. Additional details are provided in Bidding Documents.

7 Complete Set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased directly from the MOHA Soft Drinks Industry S.C , Mekelle Pepsi Cola Factory Office upon payment of non-returnable fee Birr 200.00 interested bidders coming to the address indicated below.

8 Bidders should present renewed Trade License and Water Works Registration above , certificates of TIN , VAT and tax clearance for the year 2006 E.C

9 MOHA Soft Drinks Industry S.C , reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
