CORDAIDVacancy Announcement Position: Information Technology & Security Officer Purpose of the position:• Maintain and manage Cordaid Ethiopia’s computer network, software and hardware, and ensure functioning and efficiency of the cloud IT systems. Ensure that Cordaid Ethiopia has a viable and operational plan to respond to critical safety & security incidents and that Cordaid personnel are working in an environment consistent with Cordaid’s security policy and Cordaid’s Country Security Plan. The candidate will spend 75% of his/her time on IT functions, and 25% on Security Management.Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesICT tools and hardware• Support/train colleagues in working with Office 365 and cloud based working; s• Assist in the procurement of computers, printers and other ICT parts or as needed;• Ensure that the ICT uses is guided by the Cordaid ICT Policy for Equipment and Services;• Maintain the ICT inventory register and asset movement and verify that all ICT assets are registered in the assets register and have asset numbers;• Configure, manage and maintain all Cordaid ICT Tools (laptops, printers and accessories).Networking• Manage and maintain the Cordaid Ethiopia internal office network and server;• As instructed by the Data Expert support on issues related to the DHIS2;• Maintain the best possible internet connection by managing the Meraki firewall;• Perform proactive maintenance and reconfiguration of the IT system, including software and security updates on a regular basis; Improve network and computer security measures.Software Installation and database management• Assure the active use of software and ICT equipment by staff according to the guidelines;• Conduct systems audit to ensure data & information security;• Conduct / support staff training on use of data management systems, including improving quality of data collection & reporting by health facilities. Supervise the implementation of data management at all levels and proper integration at the Cordaid office in Addis Ababa. Management support and security awareness• Lead the preparation and regular update of viable & operational safety and security plans for the Country Office and sub-offices (yearly and more often if the situation merits it); Ensures employees and visitors are aware of the safety and security protocols and policies;• Advise the CD and Senior Management Team (SMT) on risk issues, including analysis of real and potential risks to Cordaid staff, and assets, and advise on mitigating measures.

Qualifications and Skills
1. A Bachelor Degree in Information Technology /or Information Science /or Computer Science and/or any other related qualification. Additional training on NGO Security management is required;
2. At least 3 years working experience in IT and at least 1 year experience in a security management role;
3. Diplomatic, culturally sensitive, result-oriented, innovative and a strong team player;
4. Working experience with Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint, One Drive and Skype for Business. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Dynamics AX would be a plus;
5. Excellent knowledge of Window Server 2012, DHIS2, Microsoft, Meraki, Cisco Networking and v-sat connections;
6. Knowledge of ITIL procedures;
7. Proven experience in developing security related technical policy, standard operational procedures, and guidelines;
8. Excellent English writing and communication skills; knowledge of local languages preferred;
9. Willingness to travel frequently to field location with very basic facilities;
10. Must be highly motivated and able to work under pressure during peak periods.
