Society of International Ministries (SIM)Vacancy AnnouncementPosition: Human Resource Officer Job Description• Maintain up to date staff records using the HR database and hard copy filing system• Process expense claims for off-campus staff• Approve Professional Development Requests, liaising with Principals and Cambridge Coordinator where necessary• Process CARE Day and leave requests, liaising with HR Manager, Principals, Supervisors and Director where appropriate• Oversee the volunteer and self-employed service provider application system• Assist HR Manager with communicating recruitment needs to sending agencies, local and global community• Assist HR Manager with on boarding and orientation planning for incoming staff• Maintain Alumni contact details spreadsheet• Maintain stock of Bingham Academy merchandise• Plan coordinate and organize annual staff retreat• Participate in BA Community events out of working hours according to need and interest- Terms of Employment: Probation/permanent - Place of Work: Bingham Academy, Addis Ababa- Salary: As per the organization scaleHow to Apply• Interested applicants are invited to submit their application with complete CV, and other related documents (non-returnable) to: Bingham Academy using the link: https://bit.ly/2TfPyps OR SIM PO Box 127 Addis AbabaClosing Date: August 23, 2019
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's
Desired Skills
- Education: BA in HR or related field
- Experience: 2 years preferably in a multicultural organization

Other Requirements:
• Reference from known leaders to SIM
• Experience in a multicultural organization preferred
• Willing to learn new Systems
• Excellent command of English as it is the working language of the organization
