Born FreeVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Education Programme Leader - Duty Stations: Holeta (at Ensessa Kotteh);- Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and skill of the candidate.Job Description• Managing the strategic development and hands on delivery of Born Free’s education programme in Ethiopia, in line with Born Free’s Global Education Strategy, covering community partnerships; educational messaging and the creation and maintenance of dedicated educational activities and resources;• Ensure consistency in education programme approach and delivery across Ethiopia (with an initial focus on the community surrounding Ensessa Kotteh) to increase the understanding of Born Free’s work and in line with Born Free’s vision and mission;• Working with Born Free’s Programmes teams to ensure the translation of Born Free’s work and vision into a clear, and locally appropriate educational message that enables external audiences to take effective action and make positive behavioural changes;• Collaborating with the wider team to develop novel ways to engage different audiences;• Managing, providing hands on support for and actively delivering Born Free’s education projects in Ethiopia, including school outreach and Ensessa Kotteh’s educational visits – both directly and in coordination with other members of the team;• Developing strong relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and decision-makers including the general public, educators, project staff, contractors, local communities, sponsors and government partners to support Born Free’s local education programme;• Promoting educational projects to potential funders and working with the fundraising team;• Develop and maintain an education programme evaluation process that captures the impact that Born Free’s interventions have by collating, analysing and applying feedback on the educational activities provided;• Managing and supporting the work and performance of the other members of the Education team in country and working with them to develop their roles and responsibilities through mentoring and collaboration;• Performs other duties as required.How to Apply• All applications to be submitted online in English to Ayalkibet Belay ayalkibet@bornfree.org.uk Finance & Administration Manager, • Tel: 0916 83 09 67. Education:
• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Education, Sociology, Natural Resource Management, or related fields of study.

Experience:
• At least five (5) years of experience for BSc and three (3) years for MSc in the field of Education or related;
• Experience of environmental education related to natural resource or wildlife would be beneficial;
• Experience of work involving government and Non-government organisations would be beneficial;
