International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI)Vacancy AnnouncementPosition: Stores Assistant IIIKey Responsibilities:• Receives food, beverage and other items for the use of catering and recreation service• Inspect the quality of good and quantity is as per the orders/bills• Stores the item in a proper manner so that they are well protected and easily handled for issuing and stocktaking• Issues items to cafeteria and zebu kitchen based on approved store issue voucher • Follows established procedures on receiving, stocking and issuing processes• Handles and controls the cafeteria crockery’s, utensils and maintains their proper recording and issues during functions and ensures that they are returned safely after the function• Conduct stock take of all items on monthly basis and track them on the system• Ensure updated recording of stock items is kept on OCS and IDS system• Performs routine administrative and clerical work• Maintains records of goods receiving notes, stock cards, store issue vouchers and etc.• Prepares the Zebu Club food transfer summary and submit to the supervisor on timely basis- Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia- Job Grade: HG 9- Monthly Base Salary: Birr 8,500 (Negotiable depending on salary history of the candidate).- Terms of appointment: This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position, initial appointment is for three year with the possibility of renewal, contingent upon individual performance and the availability of funding. The ILRI remuneration package for nationally recruited staff in Ethiopia includes very competitive salary and benefits such as life and medical insurance, offshore pension plan, etc. The ILRI campus is set in a secure, attractive campus in Addis Ababa. Dining and sports facilities are located on site.
Educational Requirements
Diploma

Education
• Diploma in procurement and logistics/supply chain or high school certificate
• Certificate in relevant technical training

Experience:
• One year relevant experience for Diploma holder
• Three years relevant experience for high school certificate

Training:
• Ability to drive light vehicles with a valid second grade driving license.

Skills:
• Data entry skill and record keeping skill
• Reporting skill
