Company: SARIA Consultancy P.L.C Position: Monitoring Evaluation and Learning AssistantSalary: NegotiablePurpose of the Job:• Provide technical assistance to the development of MEL work plan;• Contribute to baseline data collection in the results framework;• Provide assistance in managing and delivering the MEL strategy;• Assist in coordinating/organizing MEL related public presentations, workshops and training.• Ensure that all MEL activities are carried out through effective communication and evaluation findings are disseminated with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.• Establish the monitoring of results around learning outcomes• Review of documentation and interviews with key stakeholders on the challenges and barriers to efficient and effective M&E.Submission: Interested applicants fulfilling the above requirements can submit their CV and copy of their credentials through our email address info@sariaconsult.com

Academic qualification
University degree, in Education, Statistics, Monitoring, and Evaluation, Social Sciences or a related technical field is essential and a master’s degree an added advantage
Experience and skills
• At least 4 years of experience in designing, managing, implementing and monitoring multi-year, multi-component education programs working with systems design in developing countries;
• Knowledge of project and results-based management;
• Demonstrated solid knowledge on education and on gender and inequity issues in relation to education;
• Demonstrated strong analytical, research skills, critical thinking;
• Demonstrated organizational skills;
• Strong research background desired with an ability to design and analyses education data through proven methodologies;
• Excellent data management skills, in particular, use of Excel AND other statistical software (e.g. SPSS, STATA);
• Ability to structure and collate datasets;
• Previous working experience in Ethiopia;
• Excellent written and spoken English.
