St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical CollegeVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Senior Advisors - Construction Industry Development Job Description:• Review current construction sector policies, strategies, rules and regulation and with appropriate bodies formulate long term strategies, studies plans, programs and projects.• Develop framework and system for transparent and accountable construction design, bid and contract administration system.• Build the capacity MoUDC for construction works supervision, and construction works standard formulation and its implementation.• Provide expert advice to define the main skills gaps in the construction sector management in MoUDC according to the market needs.• Provide expert advice to define and support the joint implementation of market driven skills development training; analysis of the market trends and innovation to boost youth employability in the construction sector.• Provide expert support to the definition of and joint implementation of technical and managerial skills to improve marketing capacity of enterprises in the construction sector.• Participate in a team environment to strengthening of linkages between large/small size companies / in the construction sector within the value chain to create additional employment opportunities in the short run.• Provide technical support in both the definition of the key stakeholders and the establishment of the platforms in the construction sector.• Provide a long term construction sector related technical perspective in terms of needs, forecast trends to guarantee a constant update of the construction sector’s needs in terms of skills development.• Assist MoUDC team in identifying a list of risks and mitigation associated measures that need to be taken into account in the construction sector.How to Apply• All Interested applicants can apply in person to the office of Human resource development and administration Directorate of St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College until 5 pm local time of the 10th day counted from day of the first public appearance of this advertisement. • PHD or MA/MSc and equivalent in fields of Construction Industry Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related disciplines.

Specialized Knowledge
• Construction Industry Development Management Services;
• Procurement and Contract Administration related Services;
• Dispute Resolution & Claim Administration services for construction Projects; and
• Building Maintenance Study Services.

Experience
• At least 20 years of similar experience construction industry.
• This includes a minimum of 10 years management position
