International Organization for Migration (IMO) - Ethiopia Vacancy Announcement Vacancy No.: IOM-CFA/0068/2019Position Title: Intern - Asset Management- Position Grade: Internship- Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia- Type of Appointment: Three months with possibility of extension- Estimated start date: As soon as possible- Closing date: June 16, 2019Core Functions / Responsibilities:• To conduct inventory of assets in IOM Addis Ababa main office including sub-offices in Bole and Gotera, Wongelawit area;• Perform reconciliation of physical assets against PRISM records and ensure all existing assets are properly tagged;• Update records of active and non-active assets and provide notes on unfound assets existing in PRISM, physical assets not recognized in PRIMS and capture assets ready for disposals;• Assist in asset tagging with QR codes that relates with MAIA – mobile asset inventory applications tool;• Support in the process of the mission’s ongoing yearly assets disposal and inventory exercise;• Assist on relevant tracking office fixed and movable IT assets;• Perform related duties as needed and directed by the supervisorsOther• Any offer made to the candidate in relation to this vacancy notice is subject to funding confirmation.• Appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for appointment and verification of residency, visa and authorizations by the concerned Government, where applicable.• Only candidates residing in either the country of the duty station or from a location in a neighbouring country that is within commuting distance of the duty station will be considered. In all cases, a prerequisite for taking up the position is legal residency in the country of the duty station, or in the neighbouring country located within commuting distance, and work permit, as applicable.

• University Diploma in Business Administration, Procurement and Supply Management, Supply Chain or other related field is required

Experience
• No experience is required
• Knowledge / education in Logistics and Warehouse Management
• Knowledge of computer (MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook)

Languages
• Thorough knowledge of spoken and written English
• Knowledge of Amharic and other local languages is an advantage
