International Organization for Migration (IMO) Ethiopia Vacancy Announcement Vacancy No.: IOM-CFA/0067/2019Position Title: Intern - Warehouse Management- Position Grade: Internship- Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia- Type of Appointment: Three months with possibility of extension- Estimated start date: As soon as possible- Closing date: June 16, 2019Core Functions / Responsibilities:• Coordinate with the Logistics/Warehouse Assistant on the reception of consignments and cargo from IOM various unit;• Assist to arrange and loading of items in the warehouse and to ensure stock cards are timely updated;• To ensure all items delivered to the warehouse by suppliers are consistent with specifications, quantity and quality of the purchase orders by physical examination at the time of delivery;• Timely report any loss of materials to IOM Procurement and EPC Shelter/NFI Project Units;• Oversee the casual workers for loading and offloading of incoming and outgoing items;• Assist the logistics and Asset Management assistant in manual work of asset management;• To ensure “Goods Received Note (GRN)” is placed when the service is rendered/goods are received;• To issue waybills and other related official documents for in and out movement of the material/goods/spare parts from warehouse;• To keep the warehouse and tools cleaned and items properly store;• • Perform such other duties as may be assigned.Other• Any offer made to the candidate in relation to this vacancy notice is subject to funding confirmation.• Appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for appointment and verification of residency, visa and authorizations by the concerned Government, where applicable.• Only candidates residing in either the country of the duty station or from a location in a neighbouring country that is within commuting distance of the duty station will be considered. In all cases, a prerequisite for taking up the position is legal residency in the country of the duty station, or in the neighbouring country located within commuting distance, and work permit, as applicable.

• University Diploma in Business Administration, Procurement and Supply Management, Supply Chain or other related field is required
Experience

• Knowledge / education in Logistics and Warehouse Management
• Knowledge of computer (MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook)
Languages
• Thorough knowledge of spoken and written English
• Knowledge of Amharic and other local languages is an advantage
