Nib Insurance Company S.CVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Project Manager Job Duties• Plans, coordinates, leads, and controls the overall activities of the construction project office;• Ascertains that key decisions are made on a timely basis;• Ensures that resources are effectively allocated;• Keep all project stakeholders up-to-date with project progress;• Reviews contracts and counter checks with the contract administration activities carried out by project consultant;• Prepares and submit annual budget of the construction project office including action plans;• Prepares and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly and other status reports of the construction project to the Company and if necessary to other stakeholders with recommendation on actions to be taken;• Verifies and compiles technical and/or progress reports;• Establish a project management system, and set project standards and forward to the company management for approval;• Monitors and maintains project progress, costs and resolve issues where necessary;• Checks and verifies payments to consultant and contractors and forward to the company management for approval;• Monitors the day to day construction project management activities;• Liaises with the company concerned work units and external partners;• Checks that governing laws, the company’s policies and procedures are complied within the process of project implementations; and• Performs other duties as required.How to Apply• Interested applicants who fulfill the above requirements are invited to submit their CV and copies of non returnable credentials with application letter within seven working days from the date of announcement to the following address:- HRM & Property Administration Department Nib Insurance Company (S.Co.) Job Requirement
• BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or Architect and preferably with specialization training in construction management & contract administration. 10 years relevant experience out of which 6 years in management/supervisory position in building construction projects, preferably high rise buildings.
