Cooperative Bank of Oromia S.CVacancy Announcement Position: Data Center Project ConsultantPlace of Work: Addis Ababa Job Description• Establish initial overall plan of new Data Center projects, including defining the time schedule, scope, risk analysis and resource estimates.• Engage as a member of a DC project technical evaluation team in the process of validating the bidders offer whether or not they are according to the RFP of the bank and in line with industry standards.• Drive coordinated efforts that impact timelines new DC construction and migration of the existing DC infrastructure.• Ensure alignment with DC project manager and technical teams as well as project managers on other teams to enable timely delivery of the project.• Handle communications of project progress to stakeholders, and define initial communication paths. Job Requirement
• BSc. Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or related discipline.
• Certification in DC Specialist and PMP is preferred
• 3+ years of technical project management experience in a data center environment. (Direct experience in planning, managing, scheduling, as well as hands-on & direct commissioning of equipment and systems in DC or mission critical environments)
• 5+ years of experience working in a technical IT environment, from which 2+ years’ experience as technical teams lead.
• Have a strong technical and working knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems and services supporting mission critical DC environments. Including MV/LV Distribution switch gear, ATS, Standby Generators, UPS, Chillers, CRACs, ancillary mechanical cooling systems plant, and building Automation & Monitoring systems.
• Experience in communication, building relationships, consensus and removing roadblocks.
• Experience getting the project moving until all has been identified and clarified.
• The applicant must have proven proficiency in Afan Oromo, Amharic and English Languages.
