Oromia International Bank S.CVacancy AnnouncementJob Title: Director, Electronic Banking DepartmentMajor Duties & Responsibilities: • Planning, organizing, controlling and reporting the overall the daily operations of all Electronic Banking Department functions,• Implementing, enhancing and supporting E-Banking products (Mobile and Agent Banking, Internet Banking, and Card Banking—ATM and POS) and such services,• Establishing and Managing the interface and required business operations relationship between OIB and our national switch company (Ethswitch S.C),• Reporting with possible recommendations any recurring or serious issues to Senior Management,• Recommending temporary work around and viable solutions to improve customer service and response, • Assisting and working in collaboration with IT Modernization Office and IT security Management Office in the development and implementation of new E-Banking products and services,• Reviewing existing E-Banking offerings for enhancement in alignment with business goals, competitive pressures and revenue opportunities,• Consistently analyzing customer usage of E-Banking resources, working with the Strategic Management and Business Development Department to increase its use and with other related departments to increase its availability, performance and security,• Conducting training on E-Banking products for the end users (Staffs, Agents, and Merchants),• Preparing operational manuals and all required documents for E-Banking products’ licensing and proper implementation of the services,• Introducing new business practices and required changes on every aspects of the current system,• Maintaining effective oversight of the agent’s activities and ensuring that appropriate controls are incorporated into its system in order to ensure compliance with NBE regulations,• Undertaking offsite monitoring and onsite visits to ensure that agents operate strictly within the requirements of the law, guidelines and the contract thereof,• Making sure that all E-Banking activities of OIB are undertaken as per the relevant Directives of the regulatory body,• Timely reconciling all E-banking transactions such as issuer, acquirer and international payments,• Regularly preparing and Submitting reports for internal use of the Bank and for subsequent reporting to the National Bank of Ethiopia,• Terms of Employment: Permanent Basis,• Salary & Benefit Packages: As per the attractive salary scale of the Bank,• Date of Registration: 10 working days• Only short-listed applicants will be contacted,• Applicants who do not meet the above requirements shall not be considered.How to Apply• Applicants who do not meet the above requirements shall not be considered, Interested and qualified applicants fulfilling the above requirements can submit their non-returnable application letter, CV and copies of supporting credentials with original copies in person to HRM Department on OIB Building located at Bole, Africa Avenue, adjacent to Getu Commercial Centre, 11th floor, Office No – 1101 or mail through the following address. Qualification & Experience:
• 2nd Degree or 1st Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Accounting / Management/ Economics/ Banking and Finance/ Business Administration or any other related fields of study with 8 years of relevant Banking experience out of which 3 years in managerial positions for 2nd Degree holders or 10 years of relevant banking experience out of which 4 years in managerial positions for 1st Degree holder.

Additional Skills:
• Competency in Leadership, written and oral communication, excellent in interpersonal skills, knowledge on electronic banking product, Analytical and problem solving ability and computer literacy in using common Microsoft Office.
