The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC)Vacancy AnnouncementPosition: Finance Coordinator- Contract period: 8 Months - Salary/benefits: According to NRC’s general directions - Duty station: Gambella with travel to camps Job Description• Implement NRC’s financial systems and procedures at area level • Ensure adherence to Financial Handbook, other NRC policies and donor requirements • Maintain budget control and monitor cash flow for the area • Ensure that the accounting, monitoring and reporting are according to procedures • Train and develop financial team • Prepare and submit reports and analysis as required • Ensure proper filing of all financial documents • Support project staff in financial matters • Supervise the Finance officer • Ensure that the accounting, monitoring and reporting are according to procedures • Support project staff in financial matters • Maintain budget control and monitor cash flow for the area (Finance) • Ensure development and implementation of administrative systems and procedures • Ensure that accurate and timely accounts are completed to CO in accordance with NRC financial policies and procedures • Responsible for implementing and monitoring of internal controls in order to ensure consistency of financial policies of NRC Gambella office. • Review payment requests for accuracy, completeness, compliance, level of authorisation and clarity on the invoices

Bachelor's

Qualifications:
• Experience from working as a Finance Coordinator/Manager in a humanitarian/recovery context
• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Education level:
• College / University, Bachelor's degree
