Desired Skills
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
• Strong experience of managing properties or assets in Ethiopian office environment, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience establishing and maintaining IT services and systems for an Ethiopian office environment.
• Proven management skills and the ability to operate effectively with middle management teams.
• Proven experience in procurement-related functions, with evidence of overseeing procurement processes in transparent and efficient ways.
• Fluency in English and Amharic.
• Relevant higher education (at least B.A Degree holder) preferably in IT, business management, Management and Public Relation, or other relevant educational background.
• High level computer and internet skills.
• Some experience of media work highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Commitment to the aims and objectives of BBC Media Action
