African Disability Forum (ADF)Vacancy AnnouncementPosition: Admin/Finance ManagerJob DescriptionThe ADF Admin/Finance Manager reports to the ADF Executive Director and is responsible for coordinating all ADF personnel administration and finance operations. The Admin/Finance Manager ensures implementation of all personnel policies, management of all organization finances and provides support for all ADF program activities.• Develop internal control systems and control all accounting documents.• Ensure that all financial transactions are entered into an appropriate computer software program.• Ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements are prepared to show the financial position and operational results of the ADF office and projects.• Ensure that the monthly bank reconciliation is prepared and submitted to the Executive Director.• Periodically assess all bank accounts, petty cash funds and other cash account records.• Ensure that all financial statements and bank balances from projects are received regularly.• Ensure that funds of ADF are collected and accounted for in a timely manner in line with agreements, contracts and other documents.• Check payments and other expenditures to ensure that they are consistent with the approved budget and financial procedures of ADF.• Participate in the preparation of the annual ADF budget.• Ensure that staff payroll is prepared and paid on time and that all required government taxes and social security contributions are deducted and paid.• Maintain up-dated personnel records for all staff.• Prepare and ensure that annual financial statements are verified by the external auditor on time.• Ensure the timely and proper procurement and availability of goods and services required for ADF activities.• Ensure adherence to procedures contained in the ADF Administration and Finance Manuals.• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.How to Apply• All applicants should send their CV, references, with motivation letter to the ADF office by 25 March 2019 via email jobs@africandisabilityforum.org Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for a written exam and face to face interview.

• At least First degree in finance, management, business, economics, or related field.
• Five years of relevant work experience in a similar field, at least 3 years of which is within an international NGO.
• Excellent command of English.
• Good report writing skill.
• Proven ability to provide technical support to both regional and international organizations.
• Experience in handling HR issues, contracting and support in logistical matters
• Good computer/IT skills.
• Able to provide at least three references.
