Christian Children’s Fund of Canada (CCFC)Vacancy AnnouncementJob Title: Project Coordinator- Number of person required for the position: One- Duty Station: Kemissie, Oromia Administrative Zone, Amhara National Regional state.- Terms of Employment: One Year- Salary: Negotiable- Job Application Closing Date: January 15, 2019Job Responsibilities: The Project Coordinator reports to Project Manager. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, directing and management of the project activities implemented in the operational area. He/she is also responsible in compiling and timely submission of reports to the Project Manager and day today follow up of the project team under his/her supervision.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:Undertakes project planning in participatory way involving concerned government offices, communities, project staff and other responsible development actors.Coordinates and ensures timely implementation of project activities as per the implementation plans and performance measurement framework to the standard with appropriate approaches and quality program delivery.Ensures active involvement and proper function of Stakeholders Project Management and community level structures and formal pertinent structures at villages, Kebeles and District levels.Enhances working relationship with concerned government offices, communities and other project stakeholders, and makes sure that the project staff are closely working with all concerned bodies.Ensures the optimum use of financial and material resources and timely execution of financial procedures- verifying, approval or authorization of expenditures.Follows up the activities of project staff and provides mentoring, coaching and supportive supervision to all staff under his/her supervision.Identifies the capacity needs of the project staff and facilitate capacity building of the project staff.Undertakes timely performance reviews of all staff under his/her supervision.Any other relevant activities or duties as deemed by the Project Manager.

Minimum Requirements /Qualifications:
• Masters Degree or BSc Degree in public health, health related fields or project management
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience for Master Degree; and minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience for BSc Degree. Experiences should be in project designing, implementing and coordinating health and health related projects and working at the grass root level.
• Responsible, courageous, excellence, committed, contributing to team success, innovation with problem solving
• Strong analytical and excellent report writing skill
• Good knowledge on RBM (Result Based Management) tools
• Fluent in English, Amharic and Oromiffa languages
• Commitment to CCFC’s Vision, Mission and Values.
