Zemen BankVacancy Announcement Job Title: Legal CounselorPlace of Work: Addis Ababa Job Summary: • The Legal Counselor is responsible to develop strategy, policies and procedures for Legal Department; plans, organizes, and directs the operation of the department and ensures its effective operation; oversees the provision of legal opinion on designing and preparing loch, pledge/mortgage and other contracts that regulates the day to- day operations of the Bank; facilitates the execution of legal actions such as litigation and foreclosure; decides on whether to institute cases or lodge appeals or to defend cases; authorizes the transfer of property ownership in case of foreclosure process; advices the president vice presidents and other functional leaders on legal issues and related matters.

Master's

- Educational qualification required: LLM in Law or in related fields
- Minimum work experience: 12 years of relevant work experience of which 4 years as a Division Manager.
