Action for DevelopmentVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Project AccountantJob Summary: He/ She is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of financial routines, coding, posting, analyzing, and summarizing financial data, and preparation of accurate financial reports, and monthly bank/ petty cash/ coupon reconciliation of the project office accounts. She/ He compiles, perhaps and analyses budget financial reports and ensures compliance with AFD’s and other relevant policies and procedures, besides monitoring and verifying the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions. He/ She also will look after the management and General Service functions of the project office.- Quantity: One- Terms of Employment: Six month Contract- Duty Station: Negelle Borena - Guji Zone- Salary: As per the Organization’s scale
Educational Requirements
Diploma
Desired Skills
- Qualification: BA/Diploma in Accounting or related fields
- Experience: 4/6 Years, NGO or Project financial management experience, with good skills in the use of computers and computerized accounting software, is advantageous.
