Ethiopian Steel PLCVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Multiple Area Sales OfficerJob Responsibilities• To identify potential customers, contact and visit them to identify customer need, promote and sale company products• To gather customer feedback and provide advice and assistance to customers in the most appropriate ethical manner to meet their needs,• Responsible to sale company value added products including color & thicker gages.• Identification and execution of appropriate strategy and action plans for new business development including new products• To work closely with other sales teams in the region and share necessary information• To maintain an awareness of all available products and service developments and participate in all aspects of training, proactively seeking opportunities for learning and self- development with the view of improving effectiveness and efficiency of sales • Adhere to existing company working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to positively respond to new and alternative systems• To cooperate with others in complying with relevant legislations, policies and procedures• To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and ensure no information about the company is leaked out without authority of the company• To take part in stock taking, arranging display preparation for customers in promotions including for exhibition events• To ensure that all customer complaints are addressed in time through follow up with the relevant department/person• Provide pricing and delivery information to customers• Organize and attentively follow up the workflow to meet customer timeframes/expectations• Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated authority of the company:• Explain the benefits and features of the company products to prospective and existing customers• Keep records of inquiries, comments and complaints and actions taken and provide feedback on the same• To report on sales performance• To carry out other duties and responsibilities when requested by the management
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in retail sales and marketing
• BA degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, and related fields from a recognized institution
• 5-14 years of experience in retail sales, channel sales distributor sales, wholesale markets
• Industry--FMCG, Consumer, Food, Beverages, (Coca-Cola and Pepsi and Water), Paints, Cement, tools, Chocolate, milk, Chemicals and steel retail
• Business Management graduate and postgraduate, Engineers, Science, Architects, economics, Marketing, Sales
• Having driving license preferred
• Ready to travel and ready for transfer
• Minimum CGPA 3/Strong Computer Skills
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills
• Genuine interest to work with and help customers
• Result oriented and ability to uphold confidentiality
• Abilities to travel and work under pressure
