National Oil EthiopiaImmediate Vacancy AnnouncementPosition: IT Support Immediate Supervisor: IT Head Duties and Responsibilities: - To ensure provision of a responsive, high quality service delivery of ICT Support - To investigate and repair ICT equipment, applications and desktop Operating System - Investigate and remedy any computer viruses and malware attacks on IT equipment - Assist in-house users on all aspect of IT Support - Provide support and guidance on the effective use if ICT Hardware, including Thin Clients, Laptops, Desktop Computers and Mobile Devices - Update, Maintain and Deploy Kaspersky Anti-Virus Software on Desktops - Assist with the organization's ICT maintenance suppliers - Ensures that Information System equipment's are serviced in accordance with the NOC's procedures and manufacturer specifications - Provides technical assistance and maintenance support to departmental end users - Performs other related duties as assigned - Quantity: One - Place of work: Addis Ababa
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's
Desired Skills
Work Experience:
- A+ Certification is advantageous
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows on both desktops and servers
- Desktop: Windows XP, Windows 7 and 8
- Server: Windows 2008 R2 and 2012 R2
- Ability to diagnose and problem solve
- Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
- Self motivated
- Ability to work on own and under pressure
- Good time Management, well Organized with the ability to priorities
- Microsoft qualification an advantage but not essential
- Qualification: First degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, Information Technology
- Experience: 3 years work experience in troubleshooting, ICT maintenance and support
