CVM-EthiopiaVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Technical Facilitator Job Requirement• Review submitted Construction design, TORs, BOQ, Specifications, and other related documents to ensure Ethiopia’s construction standards are met in the minimum and ensure cost appropriateness, and recommend improvements and as necessary prepare design and technical TOR documents with specification• Preparation of bills quantities and costing• Prepare Bid documents for each project, invite and distribute bid documents for shortlisted contractors for financial offer, evaluate the bid documents opened by the organization Procurement committee and submit evaluation results and proposal to the project facilitator. Prepare construction contract agreement and submit to the CVM Legal unit with all relevant documents and close follow up for contract signing• Prepare and implement the design of templates for stage approvals, Project progress report, payment request Payment certificates, provisional and Final acceptance, and other relevant standard formats to ensure the monitoring of the contractor’s progress and performance is going as per the contract agreement• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities under CVM Water program; plan, control, coordinate, monitor and evaluate activities under the Water Program. Essential educational, experience, and competency requirements are:
• MSC in Civil Engineering with at list 2 years work experience in WASH Program construction or BSC in Civil Engineering with at list 4 years work experience in WASH Project construction.
• Proved work experience in project management, coordination including team management, WASH Construction
• Problem solver and Engages and Inspires the team /Staffs
• Available to work on field base in different area
• Leads with Integrity and Respect
• Excellent in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel mandatory
• Proficiency in English and Amharic, both oral and written, Strong oral and written communication skills.
