Abt Associates IncVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Administration Manager 10/ Procurement ManagerSpecific duties and responsibilities include the following:• Performs local procurement’s of commodities, in coordination with the project’s US-based Procurement & Logistics Manager, following all relevant USAID and Abt Associates policies and procedures, including:• Definition of commodity specifications.• Preparation and conduct of local tenders.• Maintenance of a registry of local and regional vendors.• Organizes the receipt and assessment of quotations, and the selection of preferred bids.• Assist F&A Manager in Developing one standard Bid document for Spray vehicle rental, IRS supplies and equipment• Establish master IRS supplies and equipment list with potential venders and suppliers for all IRS ,Entomology and Office supplies local procurement• Develop master procurement tracking sheet which shows item request date, processing time receipt date in transit and status• Prepare purchase order, Bid analysis and all necessary documentation with in established date with no error and material misstatement• Liaise with Venders on Purchase order terms ,mode of delivery and timeliness of purchase order execution and avoid any delay & quality problems• Develop Procurement schedule for all project needs aligning it with project spray colander, required HO approval and customs clearing requirement and execute accordingly avoiding any delay and error on the supply of IRS equipment and Supplies• Develop Request for quote for all procurement that should go through it and have necessary approval from Home office• Directs and supervises procurement OfficerLocation: Addis AbabaHow to Apply• Application deadline is December 27th 2019, please use below link to applyhttps://career4.successfactors.com/sfcareer/jobreqcareer?jobId=62580&company=AbtPROD&username=• Applications that do not follow these instructions, or that don’t meet the stated minimum qualification requirements, will not be considered.

Job Requirement
• Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Business, Management, Administration, or other relevant field.
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience, with significant experience in the procurement and logistics of commodities.
• At least 4 years of experience at USAID-funded development programs, and thorough knowledge of Federal and AID Acquisition Regulations (FARs and AIDARs) is required.
• Demonstrated experience in warehouse/stores management.
• Excellent management, supervisory, organizational, computer, and writing skills.
• English language fluency.
