The Hunger Project - EthiopiaVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Her Choice Project Officer JOB SUMMARY• Prepare detailed physical and financial wok plan with targets by quarter for the project;a) For new epicenters, prepare plan with targets according to the epicenter strategy and the different phases of implementation.b) For existing epicenters, review their relevant plan mainstreaming early marriage• Provide technical support and follow up the day-to-day project activities implementation to be conducted in collaboration with the relevant THP-E and field level officers and local government experts and by mobilizing & engaging the target community.• Support Epicenter Project officers to work closely with PBRMO in all awareness creation of Child Marriage, developing materials, linking with media, etc.• Facilitate smooth working relationship with Woreda Women and Youth, Education, Health and other relevant offices to create awareness among the target community, community leaders, decision makers, teachers, youth etc. on issues of child marriage and girl’s education;• Promote girls’ education through creative approaches and facilitate alternatives such asIntegrated Functional Adult Literacy for drop outs;• Identify relevant actors with similar objective of child marriage project and promote synergy through discussions, correspondence, field visits, and follow-ups.• Prepare project Proposal, budget reviews, work plans and other documents as and when appropriate;• Ensure timely preparation, submission, completeness and clarity of activity reports by Epicenter Project Officers on quarterly basis and ensure proper filing.• Participate in regular internal, zonal or Woreda’s meetings to share information on the project achievements, challenges, gaps and find solution to challenges and gaps;• Actively participate in documentation of project success stories and compiling of quarterly and yearly reports.• Work closely and support THP-Ethiopia team whenever requested.• Performs other related duties assigned by the National Program Officer& Country Manager.- Application Deadline: August 29, 2019 - Women Applicants are highly encouraged
