Commercial Bank of EthiopiaVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Vice President - Internal ControlJob Objective: • Guide and coordinate the directors and managers of departments to ensure implementation of the Internal Control Framework related to internal control over operational efficiency and effectiveness, reliable financial reporting and compliance to laws, regulations, code of conducts, policies and procedures in meeting the bank’s objectives. Ensure fraud investigation is done professionally and the report is forwarded to concerned body for decision.Key Job Duties and Responsibility:• Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the team within the approved Internal Control Procedure of the Bank• Ensure establishment and maintenance of adequate internal Control system in the bank’s sectors by overseeing review of policies and procedures in business operations in line with the Internal Control Framework of the bank and testing of mass transaction on the sample basis;• Ensure all reported cases of fraud are treated with confidentiality and investigated professionally;• Advice subject matter expertise regarding operational controls, keep abreast of trends, and consult issues to Asset Liability Committees (ALCO)• Synchronize the work and communicate constraints and problems with the President and CEO;• Create awareness on the Internal Control throughout the Bank using different channels of communication;• Maintain existence of well-organized integration with other Sectors/Divisions/Departments and Units of the Bank- Salary and Benefits: As per the Bank’s salary scale and benefits packages- Term of Employment: Permanent- Date: September 30, 2019 - October 10, 2019
