Completion of secondary school education.
Formal Training in Automotive/mechanics is preferable

Dedicated and willing to work under stressful condition.

Ability to work flexible hours and within tight deadlines.
-
Able to travel extensively in Ethiopia including remote rural areas.
Educational Requirements
- Level 3 or proportional driving license
- 5 years & more years of work experience as a Driver in Field area, preferably in an international organization.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of the local language and area of assignment is an essential requirement. Both oral and written communication in English is an advantage.
Experience Requirements
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide driving services to the staff/partners.

Ability to assess vehicles for mechanical fitness and skills in minor vehicle repairs.

Ensure that the vehicle is always clean, in good working condition, and has enough fuel for the next activity (Note: cleaning of the vehicle should not interfere with other assignments).

Ensure the assigned vehicle is serviced on schedule and its insurance and any licenses or taxes are valid.

Maintain the vehicle log sheets and ensure they are submitted to the responsible body in time.

Comply with all organization policies and regulations.
-
Assist staff at field as well as in office.
-
Ensure regular checks of the vehicles status and condition and report any problems to the supervisor.
-
Be prepared to carry out other non-driving duties as assigned by the supervisor.
