Co-operative Development Foundation of CanadaVacancy AnnouncementPosition: DriverSummary of Key Functions:• Describe overview of job missio Reporting to Finance and Administration Officer, the Driver is responsible for driving and maintaining the assigned vehicle and providing operational/logistics support. The driver will provide safe, transport services for CDF Canada team in Addis Ababa and to the project sites in the Regions. The driver will adhere to all traffic and CDF Canada driving rules and security guidelines required.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operate CDF Ethiopia vehicles as assigned by supervisor• Maintain vehicle log-sheets in accordance with CDF policies/regulations• Check the vehicle conditions before and after each trip/routinely – report needs and problems to the Finance and Administration Manager• Adhere to all safety and security and communication protocols as advised by CDF and Ethiopia driving rules• Responsible for the safekeeping of all vehicle equipment, tools, first aid kits, spare etc.• Keep the vehicle ready, clean and on standby – ready for use at all times;• Assist, as required, with logistics in the office daily work loads• Cooperate and be of assistance to staff and visitors – assist in troubleshooting potential problems during daily business• Report all maintenance needs of the vehicle to Finance and Administration Officer on a regular basis• Do the regular service and maintenance of vehicles• Adherence to all CDF policies and procedures as outlined in CDF policies and manuals• Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to CDF and to not jeopardize its Operations in the country• Undertake official errands, such as banking, distribution of cheques, and so on…• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by relevant staff.Duty station: CDF Canada, Ethiopia Office, Addis AbabaHow to Apply• Application deadline February 19, 2020• CDF Canada is committed to achieving workforce diversity.
