Invitation for Bid

BID No. TREU/008/2012

Eligible Contractors of Category GC/BC class 7 & above can bid for the following lots through national competitive bidding (NCB).

1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and open to all bidders from eligible suppliers.
2. Eligible bidders should have a valid & renewed trade license & VAT certificate.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and clarification from Tigray Region Electric Utility (TREU) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below. 4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidders at the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of against payment receipt of Birr 320.00 (three hundred ETB)
5. Bids must be delivered to the above-mentioned address and before closing date and time.
6. Bidders must be accompanied by bid security for lot number 1 in the amount of equal to ETB 34.000,00 (Thirty-Four Thousand ETB) & ETB 30,000.00 (Thirty Thousand ETB) for lot number 23.4.5 in the form of (CPO or Bank Guarantee. Late bids shall be rejected.
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or bidders' representatives' who choose to attend at the above-mentioned address, date and time.
8. Bidders are advised to submit their offer alter examining the bid document carefully.
9. Tigray Region Electric Utility (TREU) reserves the right to reject all or partial bid without assigning any reason thereof.
