Commercial Bank of EthiopiaVacancy AnnouncementPosition: Vice President, Interest Free Banking Job Objectives:• To ensure that Interest Free Banking products and services are rendered in line with the policy and procedure of the Bank, and Interest Free Banking services are in line with customers’ expectation and market developments. The incumbent is particularly responsible to the overall business activities of Interest Free Banking. She/he is responsible for designing and redesigning of the Interest Free Banking Division, coaching the Interest Free Banking Division senior staff by guiding and facilitating their duties.Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:• Sets out business plan of the process in line with the strategic objectives of the bank;• Oversees the proper implementation of policies and procedure of the Interest Free Banking division;• Oversees the service delivery of the process and take action, if necessary;• Follow up the activities of the Interest Free Banking center office and ensure authorities and responsibilities are properly discharged;• Guides and coordinates the operations of Interest Free Banking Services: Interest Free Banking operation, Interest Free Banking finance business and Interest Free Banking Finance Appraisal• Ensures Customer recruitments are as per the Bank’s direction;• Ensures the existence of strict financing follow-up on a case-by-case basis and finality of financing and advances;• Ensures timely solution of deteriorating financing and advances;• Ensures proper and timely classification of customer;• Decides on appeal cases of financing customer;• Performs other activities as delegated by the CEO of the Bank.- Salary: As per the Bank’s salary scale- Term of Employment: Permanent
