1. REST will supply make available all materials , working place at Mekelle lachi and power supply for manufacturing but the bidder should know that will supply necessary labor( all skilled and semiskilled manpower) , material like form work, nail, for scaffolding, tie wire for fixing formwork and eucalyptus during installation, and different machinery equipments for the construction of the stated project.

2. Bidding will be conducted through the REST bidding procedures and is open to all eligible bidders as specified and defined in the bidding document.

3. REST now invites registered metal manufacturers with their professional and trade license valid for the year 2010 E.C , registered for VAT and having tax clearance certificate to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, matrials and equipment for manufacturing of warehouse metal works. The contract completion period is a 50 calendar day including 10 days for mobilization.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the procedures specified in the bidding documents, and is open to all bidders.

5. The bid must be accompanied with bid bond in the amount of 2% of the offer in the form of financial and CPO must be submitted separately with separate envelops.

6. Bids should be submitted to REST head office, Mekelle, Kebelle 17 near Axum hotel in sealed envelopes marked. The closing date will be on April, 30/08/2010 E.C 5:00 AM morning local time

7. Bids will be opened on April 30, 08 /2010 E.C 9:00 PM afternoon local time and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Birr 250 only.
