Tigray Water and Energy Bureau through government of Ethiopia has received (a Grant) from /FSRP/ hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of Food System Resilience Program/FSRP, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for: -

Procurement of Adimeshesha Onager Spate Divertion Project (Head Work)

The bureau now invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified bidders (contractors) Having VAT certificate, Tax Identification No, renewed business license valid for 2024 and valid and renewed appropriate water works registration certificate/Professional License/ from Ministry of Water, and Electricity or Regional Water & Energy Bureau.

1. Bidding will be conducted through National Open Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the Bank's and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.

2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Water & Energy Bureau and inspect the bidding document during office hours [8:00 AM to 5:00 PM] at the address given below.

3. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of birr 1000.00. The method of payment will be in cash.

4. All Bids must be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security of birr ETB 200,000.00(Two Hundred thousand birr) in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee, or CPO and they shall be delivered to the above office on or before bid closing date at (9:00 A.m. on 10/03/2025.

5. Bids must be delivered to the address below; bidders should offer in Addition to the original of the bid one Copy of technical and Two copies financial proposals sealed in separate envelop as specified in the bidding documents to be provided.

6. Bids shall be opened at 9:00 A.m. on 10/03/2025 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.

7. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

8. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
